Save Ecosystems
When we go to the store to buy paper, think twice and buy recycled paper instead of virgin paper. Buying recycled paper helps preserve the ecosystems that would be destroyed by deforestation.

Do Not Litter
When people litter it not only affects our environment but it also impacts animals. On a windy day litter can travel and end up at the beach. This is a serious problem because animals in the water might mistake the litter for food and eat it. As a consequence these animals might choke, get trapped, or die from eating litter.

Save Energy
We get most of our energy from fossil fuels, coal, and natural gas. These forms of energy cause pollution and hurt our land and our waters from where they were obtained. Solar and wind energy is a great alternative to save energy.
Drive and Fly Less Often
When we drive our cars and fly we contribute to air pollution. The emissions these vehicles produce lead to global warming. We can use alternatives like walking or using your bike whenever possible. Another alternative can be carpooling but making sure you maintain your vehicle properly.

Produce Less Waste
Every time we throw something in the garbage think about where it’s going to end up? It is most likely to end up somewhere in a landfill. By producing less trash we reduce the impact we have on Earth.
Here are some tips on how to produce less waste:
- When purchasing products make sure they are reusable
- Use cloth bags
- Use and buy recycled paper
- Sign up for paperless billing
- Avoid buying disposable plates, cups, and utensils
- Buy rechargeable batteries
